When your cooling unit does not work try these 3 simple steps before calling us.
- Check your thermostat settings to make sure the room temperature is higher than the desired set temperature. If the power was off or you changed from heat to cool for the first time, there will be a 5 minute delay.
- If there is ice build up in the outside unit, or less than normal air flow, check to make sure the filter is clean.
- Check to make sure the breakers are on and the outside power switch is on. Identify if you have a fan only, does the outdoor unit run at all or does nothing run.
